What’s your style?

As creative, storytelling photographers, we aim to artfully record and present the authentic story of your day as it unfolds, unassumingly from the shadows… allowing you to truly experience the magic of your wedding day. We do that by unobtrusively capturing candid moments as they happen, without directing or intervening. This inconspicuous approach helps us capture the natural magic of your day, revealing the true essence and character of yourselves, your guests, and your experience. When the time is right, we will also take a more active role in offering direction, making you shine brighter than ever by posing you in flattering, natural ways that don’t look or feel posed or contrived. We’re constantly dreaming up unique and creative perspectives, often going to extraordinary lengths in pursuit of an unbelievable shot. We’ll climb trees, wade barefoot across glacier-fed rivers, even shoot from within the deluge of a freezing water fountain. The end results are timeless images that speak for themselves. Bold, bright, unique and (most importantly) REAL.

What does your coverage include?

Both of us for everything… getting ready, ceremony, reception, dance, party… the entire experience. We provide complete, fully comprehensive coverage; with NO limit on time, NO limit on images taken, and NO limit on locations… nothing to distract you from your perfect day, or us from our obsessive goal of telling the complete story of your day in the most beautiful and creative way possible.

Do you photograph details and family group photos?

Yes. The photographic story of your wedding day would not be complete without them. We will make sure you not only get all the photographs you’d expect from a traditional wedding photographer, but also the photographs you never dreamed possible, even though they were happening all around you.

Will we get an album?

Absolutely! As artists and revered storytellers, we shoot to tell your story through artwork, not files on a dusty old hard drive or long forgotten disc. We ensure that you get to experience your wedding art through physical representation, in the form of an immaculate, custom-designed wedding album that will leave your friends and family speechless. These signature albums are a natural extension of our storytelling style. We shoot with design in mind, seeking not only to capture your moments, but also to transform them into beautiful spreads and storylines. While a single image may be beautiful – even extraordinary – a series of images, carefully crafted into a narrative, can magnify the impact and tell a more complete, compelling story. For this reason, our creative work continues well after your wedding day, in our studio; where we artfully blend all those elements together into a custom-tailored, beautifully bound, multi-spread art book. The finished piece is a gorgeous coffee table storybook, hand-crafted from the highest quality materials, preserving your memories for generations and enabling you to revisit your favorite moments again and again.

Will we receive the digital files?

Yes. Along with your album, you will receive a custom-tailored, beautifully packaged set of discs complete with all your images, at full resolution, and without watermarks. They’re yours to integrate into your life as you please.

How many images will we receive?

Our goal is to tell your story… fully, completely and beautifully. In doing so, we emphasize quality over quantity, employing a “less is more” philosophy. We would rather give you a couple hundred “omgwtfwowholyshit” photographs, than a couple thousand “so-so-mediocre” ones. Our couples usually receive 300 to 600 images, depending on the nature of their celebration.

When will we receive our images?

We aim to floor you with a couple “sneak peeks” within a few days. But the best things in life come to those who wait. Our creative commitment to you extends well beyond your wedding day. It generally takes us about 6 to 8 weeks to artistically mater your images, prepare your web gallery, produce your slideshow, and design your album (which will arrive, along with your discs; 3 to 5 weeks upon final design approval).

Do you offer photo booth service?

Yes. This is an optional, fun and hilarious addition to our reception coverage. Basically, we bring along a 3^rd photographer, a portable photo studio and hilarious props, and then capture the shenanigans. We can even do super cool custom backdrops.

What’s the deal with engagement sessions?

We offer complimentary engagement sessions for all our wedding couples because it’s an incredible opportunity for the four of us to get to know each other better. We learn what makes you relax and laugh and just be yourselves with each other in front of our lenses. The shoots are fun and relaxed and individualized for each unique couple.

Easy. Just contact us and we’ll arrange an opportunity for the four of us to get to know each other and ensure that we’re a perfect match. For destination weddings, everything can be done online. It takes ten minutes, after which you can count on us to be anywhere in the world, with our cameras, for the most anticipated day of your life.
