Canmore’s newest citizen

This little fella has already lead a very adventurous life. With barely any warning (about 15-20 minutes I believe) he was born into his loving home, right in the middle of his mom’s birthday party. And, at less than 2-weeks of age, he’s already on his first trip to Disneyland to celebrate the 5th birthday of his older siblings.

Welcome to the exciting world of Two-Mann Tent Photography! We are Lanny Mann and Erika Jensen. Our passion for photography was born several years ago amid glistening peaks and billowy icefields. We’ve always loved exploring the wildest places on Earth, venturing deep into the remote corners of our planet, in search of beauty, adventure, and timeless images. We used to live from one adventure to the next. Life was good. And then, our world got flip-turned upside down. Along came a baby and thus began the biggest adventure of our lives. Fast forward 2 years and we now have two litle Manns; Madelyn (3) and Timmy (1). The resulting deluge of life-changing events has taught us to see beauty in entirely new ways. We still love exploring the outdoors, especially with our little ones, but we now see that the real beauty in this world, exists within relationships. In photographing people, we’ve discovered a whole world of emotion, passion, and love. We love capturing these relationships, whether between father and son, husband and wife, or a mother and her unborn baby. Most recently, we’ve set our professional sights on bringing new meaning to the beauty and artistry of wedding photography. We are based out of Canmore, Alberta in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Our background in landscape/adventure photography has aided in our ability to creatively incorporate surrounding landscapes into our images. But most importantly, we capture the moments.
Baby Ainsley

The Saturday previous to this newborn shoot, we were supposed to be capturing this little soul from another perspective; inside Stephanie’s Belly. However, Baby Ainsley decided to grace the world with her presence 3 weeks early. So, our maternity shoot was turned into a newborn shoot. Alas, we set out to capture the essence of Ainsley’s beauty, her emerging personality and the love and adoration within her wonderful family. She’s a perfect little girl.
“We hired Two Mann Tent Photography to shoot our family shots with our latest addition, our baby girl. Lanny came out of his way from Canmore to our house in Airdrie. We were so happy with how our house became the studio and instantly felt at ease. Lanny was professional but fun and had many ideas of making this photo shoot like no other! When we saw the proofs of the pictures, they took our breath away. We fell in love instantly with every single one. Erika made ordering the prints seamless, and helped us decide what sizes would fit our interest. Two Mann Tent will be the only company to get our future business.
