Fine art photography of Louisa Jensen's prints

January 31, 2011

We photographed this art from an amazing freelance artist and illustrator, by the name of  Louisa Jensen. Her beloved characters are so endearing, it was hard not to fall in love with each and every one of them. The original artwork is displayed in Purr Petit, in Calgary. The photographs are being used to make fine art prints of the original work. I think I’ll be picking up a few myself, for Madelyn and Timmy’s room.  A collection of her work can be viewed at http://www.behance.net/louisajensen.

Passion and creative expression collided in our most recent assignment, in which we were commissioned to take artistic images of D’s most prized possession (after his wife and daughter, of course)… his bike. A collage of the images are to be featured in their newly renovated rec room. Printed on metallic paper and mounted on a thin sheet of aluminium, these artistic prints showcase stunning lines of symmetry, shiny componentry and the simple beauty of D’s bike. They not only add a unique and interesting element of design,  they symbolize one’s passion.
